The government of Chad recently announced an action plan to eliminate the use of child soldiers in armed conflict. Chad, one of six nations noted by the UN for violations against children in combat, was the focal point of a recent report highlighting “Grave Violations Against Children”

The Chad National Army as well as numerous armed group are noted as being complicit.

In just a few weeks time, Battle of the Arts will kicking off a six city tour of New Brunswick with the goal of raising money for War Child Canada. The event is now in its second year and will be looking to build on previous success.
